OpenAI’s ChatGPT can now browse the internet for current and authoritative information, thanks to an integration with Microsoft’s Bing search engine. This feature, available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and ChatGPT Enterprise users, marks a return to web browsing for ChatGPT, which was previously disabled due to paywall bypassing issues. The browsing feature now recognizes the “robots.txt” code to exclude certain content. This update follows recent enhancements to ChatGPT, including the ability to scan and analyze images and conduct audio conversations.
