Astronomers have discovered a unique star system, HD 110067, just 100 light-years away, with six planets closely orbiting their host star. Unlike our solar system, this system appears to have remained largely unchanged since its formation over a billion years ago. The planets, initially detected by NASA’s TESS, are so close to their star that none lie in the habitable zone. This system offers a unique opportunity to study planetary system formation and evolution processes.
