Modular has developed a new programming language, Mojo, that combines Python’s ease of use with the high performance of C++. Created by Chris Lattner, the language aims to simplify AI development and deployment, offering a solution for developers who want to write for GPU and CPU without switching between languages. Mojo, which is a superset of Python, is already being used by over 100,000 users and is expected to become open source in the future.
